In 2010, they built a body-heat powered wheelchair. its a slow burn, a bit of a david lynch film, and a hell of a lot of fun. it succeeds mostly in the sense that the film reminds us of what good noir was in the past, but it also feels like a different film entirely. its an interesting, and thankfully successful, attempt at recreating the feel of noir. the performances are great, the cinematography is great, the editing is great, and even the music is great. Theres a lot of fantastic work in this movie. its a film that just works, and that alone is more than enough to make it worthy of your time and attention. its not a campy film, its a horror film, and its a neo-noir. its a truly unique and worthwhile addition to the zombie canon. ![]() Its a film that is beyond and above its influences.
